Mindset
Ok. So. I’ve lost like 72 lbs. yippee! But there are still some mornings (quite a few actually) where I just feel fat.
Usually it’s my ex-ED rearing it’s ugly head and making me feel fat after I eat (even if it’s a totally healthy meal).

There is obviously
Something very wrong with my scale.
I ate like crap yesterday. I mean really. Instead of my normal 150-160g of carbs I ate a whopping 271g.
And calorie wise I ate nearly 2000.
And yet….
I weighed in at 204.6 lbs.
I haven’t weighed less than 205 lbs in 4 or 5 years.
How is it that I can weigh the lowest I have weighed in literally years after a horrendous day of eating....

Grocery Shopping and Healthy Eating
(this grocery cart is actually not a great example, but it’s the only one I had).
Ok. So it makes perfect sense that if you buy something that’s a single serving item, it will probably cost more in the long run, even if it seems inexpensive now.
Ex: $5 for lunch at Subway x 5 lunches = $25.
And that’s only 5 individual meals.
Now, if instead of shopping in the freezer aisle...

Change
Three years ago I used to spend a minimum of $200 every other week on groceries.
Most of it being processed crap.
And that was just for Pete and me.
Today I went to the grocery store and spent $64.99. I got three sizable bags of groceries.
Now I’m buying groceries for 4 (sometimes 5) people. I got some stables. Some one time use things.
But that never would have happened...

Just (easily) pulled on size 12 skinny jeans.
Haven’t worn a size 12 since I was 18 or 19. No big deal…
