$440 for textbooks. Ouch.
18 notes
Bye bye paycheck.
Can’t do amazon or ebay or chegg. My school does custom bundles for the classes. Pisses me off.

They have to offer the books in the library. I once went two whole semesters never buying a book, I’d either check out the book or if it was on reserve, then I’d make copies.

Yikes! Mine are almost 300, and that’s only 2 classes! Currently hunting for deals.

It sucks the most because when you turn around to sell them back, they’ll pay you $40 for a book you spent $150 on, if you’re lucky. Then they’ll turn around and sell your book for $100… something isn’t right.

I used to buy mine from the campus bookstore, then look them up online and return them. The bookstore would get pissed, but that’s what they get for trying to have a monopoly on our business…

And you can rent textbooks from Amazon too. So much less costly than buying.

Why didn’t you try Chegg, Amazon and Ebay? I never pay over $150 for everything total. Fuck-that-shit
