Total Weight Loss: 12.3 lbs

Percentage Weight Loss: 5.6%

What I’m proud of: Getting. Getting straight A’s in chemistry. Consistently watching my carbs.

What I could have done better: Gone to the doctors so I might have been able to work out.

I didn’t weigh in today. So I’m just using my last weigh in. The last 72 hours have been extremely stressful, so I doubt I’ve lost anything….but that’s ok, I mad a significant dent in the past 12 weeks, which I’m really proud of.

WIW/Week 6 - O:GH4Lr2: The Weigh In

209.5 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 9.2 lbs
Percentage Weight Loss: 4.2%

Things I’m proud of myself for (from last week):  Working on my fear of my size. I am scared that the clothes I ordered won’t fit. But there is no reason it shouldn’t. Size large shirt, size 14 jeans. There is no reason these things shouldn’t fit. And lately, I have been feeling bigger then I really am, which I know is just a brain trip. I’ve lost almost 67 lbs. I am obviously not the same person I was. And not eating all things when I was sad.

Things I could improve on: Stop watching Gossip Girl all the time.

I was really hoping that I could reach 25% weight loss by my 25th birthday,
but I don’t think there is a way I can loose 2.5 lbs by then. But that’s ok. I am no longer in the 210s, or the 220s, or the 230s, or the 240s, or the 250s….or the 260s, or the 270s.

Wow, that’s a lot of intervals…..

I am proud of myself though, and I’ve gone through a lot to get here. And I am definitely not the same person I was when I started this journey, and not because of the weight loss.

WIW/Week 5 - O:GH4Lr2: The Weigh In

Starting Weight: 218.7 lbs
Today’s Weight:
210.7 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 8.0 lbs
Percentage Weight Loss: 3.7%

Things I’m proud of myself for (from last week): That I more or less didn’t eat all things while on my period. That I didn’t give myself too hard a time for watching Merlin instead of studying. That I thought to use the quadratic equation to solve for x in rx^2 + sx + t=0. 

Things I could improve on: Everything really, but I’m working on it.

I can’t believe I’ve already lost 8 lbs on this challenge. If you had told me 2 months ago that that would ever be possible I would have laughed in your face. There are only 4 more lbs until my goal too. Well shit. I can totally do this. Only wish I could exercise to help out the progress. Also, knee has gotten worse with the cold. I have taken to wearing a thigh high sock on that leg, it seems to be helping.

Week 4 - O:GH4Lr2: The Weigh In

Starting Weight: 218.7 lbs
Today’s Weight:
211.5 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 7.2 lbs
Percentage Weight Loss: 3.3%

Things I’m proud of myself for (from last week): I got to see Karen (so much awesome) even though I was tired, I wasn’t a hermit!! That even though my thanksgiving/birthday is completely stressing me out I only had 1 break-down. I ended two bad/fucked up relationships/friendships. I didn’t eat all things because of the previous two points. That I didn’t freak out when my weight was all the way up to 215.6 lbs this week. AND THAT I AM NO LONGER OBESE!!!!

Things I could improve on: KEEP watching sodium, drink more water (!!), remember to take multi-vitamin folic acid, keep cooking, see cousins, start walking dogs (get non-knee hurting sneakers).

I’m also breaking up with my bank this week.

Things I could improve on: KEEP watching sodium, drink more water (!!), remember to take multi-vitamin folic acid, keep cooking, start walking dogs (get non-knee hurting sneakers first).

And thank god today is already a better day. (Starting off the day jammin out and dancing to Beyonce and Florence while cooking bacon and having a late start day definitely improves the day drastically)

215 lbs - NOW (damn shadows, sorry)………………………….250 lbs - THEN


Alicia has been having a really hard time lately, she hasn’t been cutting herself enough slack. Yes, I’m calling you out boo.

That being said….Ok y’all. This is what I really look like.

I didn’t lose any weight this week, I’m still at 215 lbs, and I’m ok with that. Is it a little frustrating? Sure. But LOOK AT MY PROGRESS (now and then past)!! That is definitely something the scale can’t tell me.

I’ve lost 52.5” from my entire body. I’ve lost almost 61 lbs. Do you know want to know what I’m proud of this week?? THAT!

Here’s the thing with weight loss. You can’t just take a picture and be like “DAMN IT! Look how fat I am!!”

You have to look at progress! We are obviously our own worst enemies, we need to ease up on ourselves. Is there stuff I would change? Sure. But I walk around naked more now. I’m not self conscious all the time now. I think I look good now. I love myself then, now and in the future.

You won’t love yourself once you lose all the weight if you don’t love yourself now. Trust me on this one.

P.S. Sorry about my boobs. They get out of control sometimes….

Week 2 - O:GH4Lr2: The Weigh In

Starting Weight: 218.7 lbs
Today’s Weight:
215.0 lbs
Weight Loss: 3.7 lbs
Percentage Weight Loss: 1.7%

 Anywho….

YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAYAY! I guess my wet hair weighed more then I thought, which isn’t surprising seeing as how much hair I have….

Also, am I going to like demolish my goal or what? I’m almost 1/2 way there already…

Things I’m proud of myself for (from last week): I more or less stuck to my carbs last week, BUT I didn’t beat myself up for having more on our awesome birthday picnic. I relaxed about it, but still kept things in check. I didn’t have a chance to make anything new…but this past week seems like a blur. I seriously don’t remember most of it. Weird….OH! And I watched my sodium and did attempt to drink more water.

Need to remember the rest though.

Week 1 - O:GH4Lr2: The Weigh In, Kinda

Starting Weight: 218.7 lbs

Today:

Today I started Shark Week. However if you go by the lowest weight I weighed in at it was 217.3 lbs, which would be a loss of 1.4 lbs, but that was on Friday…. So…we’ll have to wait (I wrote weight 3 times…) until next week

Things I’m proud of myself for (from last week): I more or less stuck to my carbs last week, even with shark week coming in for the kill and having a dire need of a chocolate chip cookie. AND I made TWO new dishes (three if you count the vegan cupcakes), which is more new dishes then I made….in a long while!

Things I could improve on: Watch sodium, drink more water, stop buying new clothes,  remember to take multi-vitamin, keep cooking, start walking dogs (get non-knee hurting sneakers first).

Operation Get Hot 4 Lyfe, Initial Weigh-In and Goals

Starting Weight: 218.7

Real quick, re: my weight

Weight Loss Goal: 12 lbs

Non-Weight Loss Goal:

  1. Fit into (size 14 H&M) goal #1 skirt—can’t even zip right now.
  2. Fit into Mad Med-esque dress. (Haven’t tried it on in a while so I don’t know where I am with this one).
  3. Cook/bake new things. New Whole Foods Cookbook rocks, now just to use it…

This Week’s Goal(s):

  1. Keep kicking ass on the reduced carb thing
  2. Not have a breakdown while my mom is out of town (she went to see her sister again, more on that later) and I have to take care of my dad and homework.

I’m so excited for this.

What are you talking about? You mean I’m not a tiny blond southern girl from the 1920s? Sad day.

Side Notes: I guess I’ll have to use my 2 am weight cause I don’t have a way to weigh myself now. Actually just less than 209 would be awesome. Although, cause I’m probably the biggest one doing this I wont win cause my % weight loss will be less. *shrug* We shall see what happens
